De repente, su profesor se convert\u00eda en un asqueroso monstruo que lanzaba fuegos artificiales por la boca provocando grandes incendios alrededor de ella, pero el fuego no llegaba a rozarla. Al mirar hacia abajo, gelatinosos bichos que derramaban sangre al andar&nbsp; sub\u00edan por su cuerpo cre\u00e1ndole profundos agujeros. Cuando se iban, su piel volv\u00eda a la normalidad, pero eso s\u00ed, dejando sobre ella un rastro rojo. \u201cOjal\u00e1 nunca hubiera abierto esa puerta\u201d. Hablaba de la puerta de aquella estancia oscura que hab\u00eda contemplado tantas veces con ojos tentadores en aquel parque de atracciones, la puerta de ese pasaje al que su hermano le hab\u00eda desafiado a entrar; ahora ya no quedaba rastro ni de \u00e9l ni del gu\u00eda. Sus pies no la dejaban retroceder, solo andar y andar; pero &nbsp;aquello no ten\u00eda fin. De repente, son\u00f3 algo parecido a una sirena. Su padre y dos polic\u00edas ven\u00edan a buscarla, mas la ni\u00f1a estaba paralizada, con una cara aterradora. En lugar de su fina sonrisa hab\u00eda ahora una mueca de terror, por ella asomaban grandes colmillos. Sus redondos ojos se hab\u00edan convertido en otros muy diferentes: rasgados y verdes. Fue un error abrir esa puerta.
